They say California is the place you want to be, but before you pack up move to Beverly take a minute to explore the variety of things to do, see, and experience in this wonderful and diverse state! With so many things to do and see, here are some ideas that will give you a start as you look into some of the best that California has to offer you as California tourism has never been better.

For those of you who want to get a glance of glimmer, make sure to head over to visit Hollywood where you just might run into your favorite star. Take a walk on the more than 2,000 stars that bear the name of those who have contributed to the glamour in the world of entertainment. Once you’ve gotten your fill of Tinsel town, take a ride on over to Beverly Hills for some legendary shopping and an experience of the life of the rich and famous, making the trek down the legendary Rodeo Drive. If you have energy after all of the star gazing and shopping, make time to drive around to view some of the most extravagant and expensive houses in the United States.

If you have had your fill of the sparkle of celebrity life and are ready for a relaxing time, good food and good wine, experience California’s legendary wine country in Napa Valley. Step into the past as your explore century old wineries or pamper yourself at one of the many relaxing spas they feature. Napa Valley has been producing wine since the early nineteenth century and is now considered one of the premier areas of wine producers in the United States. Visit one of the more than three hundred wineries and get your fill of some of the world’s best wine. Enjoy exquisite cuisine and take in a sunset as you soak in this romantic, historic area of Napa County.

If you are traveling with children or are just a child at heart your trip to California would not be complete without a visit to Walt Disney Land in Anaheim, the “place where dreams come true”. Take a ride on a pirate ship or even on a flying elephant, and escape to a land that delights children of all ages. With shows, attractions, and firework displays every member of the family is sure to find something they enjoy. Visit Legoland California if the famous building blocks are your thing. If you lean more towards bigger thrills, visit one of California’s two Six Flags parks and brave the assortment of roller coasters and exciting rides. Animal lovers can even get their fancy tickled as they get up close experience with them in San Diego at Sea World or San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park.

Certainly you can’t mention California without taking time to talk about the beautiful natural wonders that will leave you breathless. Yosemite National Park is definitely one that you should make the time to explore. It houses many waterfalls, ancient trees, beautiful valleys, and provides a home to much wildlife. Spend time hiking, rafting, and discovering all the splendor of such a lush and pure land. Camp in the park itself and enjoy all that nature has to offer as you get away from the rush of everyday life.
